Yes was a bit hit and miss plus the near riot to get to a seat by any anyone lady or Tv that seemed to occur which probably was the reason not so much action, bad mannered savages ruin it far too often. I wonder do you remember the old Taboo down towards the college of food and domestic arts. Plush(ish)seats and a better behaved clientele?

This cinema closed in Oct 2020 and being demolished to make way for HS2. The owners are looking for a new venue. I hope they find one.
