'my thought was to keep trying and each time some more scar tissue will form to provide a stable base to pierce that doesn't tear easily or allow migrating.
Two piercings doubled the chance for succes..

Over the years I have pierced myself at least ten times between my buttocks just above my anus. My initial intention was to have the piercing exactly as the ring is now placed. But between the first time and most recent time I tried different piercings and placements. A ring and tw curved barbels, one slghtly shorter than the other, sometimes placed horizontally and sometimes vertically. It never had a lasting result.
(A professional piercer will never take on such a piercing. At the most a micro dermal somewhere high in the buttcrack.)
This spot just above the anus is always in motion and under stress. The tissue and skin is tender and soft and offers no solid base to keep the piercing from migrating. It doesn't get much sunlight or oxygen and is often more damp than fully dry. And it is exposed at least once, maybe several times a day to some nasty bacteria.
And in my case (as in many like mine).... I need my megadildo playtime or I'll go çto keep me somewhat satisfied and keep me from going 'craving-crazy'.
